New Audi Q8 Fuel Efficiency and Powertrain

Every Q8 comes with the same 3.0-liter V-6 powertrain, delivering 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, directing power via Audi’s premium quattro all-wheel-drive platform. The engine is supplemented by a 48-volt hybrid system that helps with stop-and-go situations. The Sport Plus package adds air suspension with 22-inch wheels, offering adjustable ride height and rear-wheel steering, making the Q8 a more capable daily driver, especially in tight spaces and on different terrain. It’s got plenty of pep in its step, getting from 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds. It’s also reasonably strong, with 7,700 lbs of max towing ability. It’s rated to get 17 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. 2026 Audi Q8 Trim Levels and Interior

The Q8 is a mid-size SUV like Audi’s three-row Q7, but it's only offered with a two-row setup and a sloping roofline, giving it a more attractive silhouette. It has room for 30.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear row and up to 60.7 cubic feet of total cargo space. Like you’d expect from an Audi, it comes in three trim levels:

The Q8 Premium gets the new Convenience Plus package as an option for 2026, which adds blacked out trim elements, ambient interior lighting, a 360-degree camera system, and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system. Audi Q8 Tech Features

Every Audi Q8 has a wealth of display screens across the front of the cabin, with a 12.3-inch digital cockpit right behind the wheel, and a 10.1-inch infotainment unit in the center of the console. Another smaller screen sits directly under the infotainment unit for climate control. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot are all standard.
